Terms of Service
Version 1 · Last updated: 2 October 2026
These Terms govern use of the StayCraft platform operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("StayCraft", "we", "us"). By using the platform, as the owner of a Business or as a customer of a Business's site, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
StayCraft provides websites, and tools for bookings, orders and enquiries, to small businesses ("Businesses"): homestays and other places to stay, paying-guest houses, vehicle rentals, taxi services, tour and activity operators, makers of local crafts, and newspapers. The people who use a Business's site are its "customers". Each Business is responsible for the content, the prices and the availability on its own site, and for providing what it sells there.
2. Bookings and orders are between customer and Business
A booking, order or enquiry made through a Business's site is a matter between the customer and that Business. StayCraft is not a party to it, does not own or operate the Businesses, and is not responsible for what is sold, its quality, or any dispute arising from it.
3. Payments
StayCraft does not process customers' payments and charges customers no commission. Customers pay the Business directly (for example by UPI). Businesses' subscriptions to StayCraft are billed separately; applicable taxes (including GST) are the responsibility of the party required by law to charge or pay them.
4. Business accounts
- You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- You must have the rights to any content, images and information you publish.
- You must keep what your site says accurate, and honour the bookings and orders you accept.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to break the law, infringe others' rights, publish misleading or fraudulent content, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.
6. Content
Businesses retain ownership of the content they publish and grant StayCraft the licence needed to host and display it as part of the service. Reviews must reflect genuine customers' experiences.
6A. Takedown and complaints
Every site on StayCraft is run by its owner, who is responsible for what it says. If you find something on a site we host that you believe is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or that infringes your rights (including copyright and privacy), report it to our Grievance Officer: [GRIEVANCE OFFICER NAME], [GRIEVANCE OFFICER EMAIL]. Give the address of the page, say what is wrong with it and why, and tell us how to reach you.
We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to decide it within 15 days of receiving it. We may remove the content or suspend the site while we look into it. We act on a valid court order or government order within the time the law gives us. If a site shows its own grievance officer, you may also write to that person.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the update.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, StayCraft is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts, omissions or content of any Business or customer.
9. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment of a subscription.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [CITY FOR DISPUTES] have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
